Grans skydive from 11000 feet! Amazing video!

If you though the video showing an interview of the grannies who skydived at the airshow over the weekend was good, wait for this… The DispatchOnline team has managed to secure some actual footage of the grannies jumping from the plane, thanks to the kidness of a group of professional video journalists here in East London and the Walter Sisulu University Journalism school! The video was shot at the Elvin Extreme Airshow on Saturday by pro videographers William Granzier (who is also a regular contributor on the DispatchNow 24/7 blog), Michael Rusch and John Crossley. They were assisted by WSU students Lusanda Bill, Sithembele Sakati and Bathandwa Diamond.

It was produced by WSU broadcast lecturer Sharon Cumming.

The group is now putting together a full documentary on the grannies -- and they are hoping to have it flighted on national or international television soon.
