The shenanigans within Buffalo City Municipality has reached the highest office in the land, raising concern with President Jacob Zuma, a close aide told the Dispatch on Thursday.
ANC spokesperson and Zuma’s close aide, Zizi Kodwa, said the going-ons within the municipality has prompted Zuma to ask for a detailed report spelling out “challenges facing the region.”

Also, is it time for the big boss to step in? Blog and give us your feelings.
Alan, I’d propose you for Mayor if you weren’t obviously practically illiterate, and the municipal agendas can run to 2,000 pages every fortnight. Try to calm down before you type Broer.
I agree with Alan that Zuma needs to pay a surprise visit so that he sees things for what they are. If his visit is announced, BCM will do a quick coverup like they did in Mthatha.
There is just so much infighting going on and excuses that no work is being done. They remind me of my son who spends so much time and works so hard at getting out of chores and homework that he is left with little time to play afterwards and is really exhausted.
Comeon guys, lets see less talk and more work!
Ha, Ha, Bloody Ha,typical incompitent lazy, useles anc officials, lets make a few pointers and se what Joe public thinks.
1. Lets see how ANC responds “Yes to the DA Cape Town hash up on the Bus route, an investigation is being undertaken and I can bet that the results of this will be made public.
2. The Da controlled areas curtail their spending on cars, functions etc.
3. The Da actually deliver on Service Delivery albeit under intimidation and harrasment from the ANC.
Wherever a council goes Pear shape, oh everyone else is to blame, DA, COPE etc when the ANC have the audacity to say “OH WE ARE STILL IN CONTROL” as we are the majority party, well that is wherethe problem lies, the rot in the ANC led coucils, but they are only good at one thing and that is to try and trash oposition parties that are makinga difference to the poorest of the poor.
I agree wholeheartedly with a comment I read earlier the ANC are purposfully ******** up everything so that in the eventan opotion wins theywill inherit a an absolutedog breakfast and PIG sty where these foolsbelong, in the event come the next election after that th ANC in their usual cowardly way will dis eveyoneand the masses will blindly follow, thisis hw the ANC operates, keep the masses uneducated give them a little taste offood parcels and wa la they get voted in, OH LETS NOT forget the MASS intimidation by the ANc, ANCYL,SACP etc just prior to an election as what happened in the last election.
FINAL Point, is JZ to scaredto come to his so called stong point areas without a mass of security, JZ instead of wasting money on an investigation and reports which will NEVER be maade public, take months to prepare, HERE is a thought. Make an unannounced visit to ELN and see for yourself 1st hand thepig sty the ratepayers etc must live in vs what councilers and Bisho peole live in and condition of roads, hospitals, schools i can assureyou without prior notification you will **** yourself speachless.
I wonder if he asked the ANC region (Somyo/ANC) or the ANC province (Masualle/SACP) for such a report? Either he is intervening to validate the region’s actions and outmanoeuvre the province, or else he is intervening to reverse them (at the province’s behest). Ons sal sien. Either way, some people will have some serious scrambled egg on their faces.
Maybe part of the game is to sucker them into emasculating the regions? After they raised the flag of “grassroots democracy” and trumpeted that “the people shall govern”, all we see is business as usual – “democratic centralism” (the Big Man decides) is very deep-rooted, since our feudal days.
